Do I need to have CSI now that I have pre/settled status?

No. Both settled and pre-settled status are lawful leave granted under the immigration rules, so as long as you keep meeting the conditions and do not lose your status through excessive absences, your stay will remain lawful.

Even if you are a student or self-sufficient person, CSI is not required once you have pre-settled or settled status.

It was only required for the periods when you were a student or self-sufficient person before you were granted pre-settled or settled status, if you wanted to apply for citizenship, and if those periods fell within the last 10 years before your citizenship application. However, see this FAQ for an important update on Comprehensive Sickness Insurance.
