Loss of EU Settlement Scheme status Q&A webinar

Join us for a webinar from 6 - 7:30 pm on Thursday 13 August 2026 where we’ll discuss the ways in which the Home Office can take away your pre-settled status or Withdrawal Agreement rights, and what you can do about it.

  • Head of Policy and Advocacy Monique Hawkins (the3million) will explain the latest developments
  • Solicitor Mala Savjani (Wilsons Solicitors) will discuss situations where people are told their status was granted in error
  • Immigration expert Chris Benn (Seraphus) will take your specific questions
  • Research and Policy Manager Kaelynn Narita (the3million) will introduce a new addition to our Report It! tool

If you have a question you would like us to cover during the webinar, you can include it when you register here.

We will prioritise questions sent in advance, then we will take questions asked at the webinar itself. We are likely to not be able to answer every question live. For those we are not able to get to, we will aim to send a Q&A document within a few weeks of the event.

We know the EU Settlement Scheme and its digital-only status known as an eVisa works perfectly well for many people.

However, for far too many, the picture is very different. Many people - even when they have been granted status under the EUSS - have problems proving their rights, whether due to Home Office glitches or because of being digitally excluded.

Now, people are facing another worry - can the Home Office take away status or Withdrawal Agreement rights once granted?

Once again, these issues disproportionately impact on racialised EU citizens and their family members, and on vulnerable and digitally excluded people. Added to that, there is less free help available than ever before.
